4x4 Friends,

We would like to wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year, and many SAFE 4x4 kilometres.

We have decided to give you a year planner so that everybody can plan ahead and hopefully be able to join us on all our trips.

Please take note that all our Cross-Border Trips will be self-catering trips and that a minimum of 6 vehicles and a maximum of 10 have to join in order to do the trips. This Year we have decided to accommodate the Duel-Purpose Motor Cycles on the Cross-Border Trips. Depend on the number of Bike’s, 1 or 2 Back up vehicles need to accompany the Bike’s. (Dakar, GS,eg.)
Bookings for the Cross Border trips, deposits to be paid, 60 Day’s in advance. We also do customise trips. You tell us what You want

We as a Club are offered very competitive prices, and we would like for everybody to join us and benefit from these offers.

Bay Hall Richards Bay 18h30 for 19h00. Family welcome. Discussions: About the Club, New Members, and Event Calendar.

25 February
Day Trip to Ngoye Forest. Bring picnic Lunch or gas Braai (No Fires) chairs and drinks.2x4 Welcome. Bring recovery strap with. Melmoth, Eshowe and surrounds.

10 – 12 March
Thangami Spa. Vryheid

27 April – 1 May
3 Province 4x4 Trails, Historical Trail and Witkruis Arend Trail.
(Quads Welcome) Volksrust

29 May
Pre-Trip Meeting for Botswana.

26 June - 05 July (School Holiday’s) Botswana.
Kubu Island, Sowa Pan’s, Magadi Gadi Pan’s to Mankwe Lodge, Spent 5 day’s camping, and explore the surrounding areas.

11- 13 August
Thugam or Echo 4x4 Trail. Pongola. (Quads Welcome) to be confirmed.

22 – 25 September
Mozambique. Ponta Mallogane. (Quads Welcome)

20 November
Pre-Trip Meeting for Namibia

12 December – 1 January
Namibia. Via Botswana, Ethosha Pan’s, Ruacana Falls, along Kunene River to Upupa Falls, Via Van Zyl`s Pass to the Anna Trees, and then down the Marienfluss to Henties and Swakopmund. Return to RSA via Namib Desert.

There will be two 4x4 and Quad Fun Weekend events additional to the above dates that will be held at Thangami, where our Club will invite other Clubs in South Africa to join us. The Dates for these events will be confirmed. One event in the first Half, and one in the second half of the Year.

In addition to the above events will the Club also organise at least two one day Fun events to generate funds for the Club.

Club Meeting date will be mailed to everybody in advanced.
